How are plastic moulded components fed linearly?

Plastic mouldings can be transferred on profiled rails, channels or supported tracks chosen around stable datums and permitted contact faces. Guides and covers can limit lifting or rotation.

Application review should include flash, gate vestige, warpage, surface finish, static behaviour, colour variants and the risk of similar parts being mixed.

A nominal drawing does not reveal friction, static, moulding variation or cosmetic contact behaviour—use production samples.

Often yes, but energy, covers, queue pressure, static and contact surfaces must be matched to actual part behaviour.

02How can cosmetic marking be reduced?

Identify protected faces, reduce unnecessary sliding or pressure, select suitable contact materials and verify the result with representative parts.

03Can one track handle several moulding colours?

Colour alone may not require mechanical changeover, but optical sensing, static, surface finish and contamination checks may differ.

04Why are multi-cavity samples important?

Cavity-to-cavity differences in flash, warpage, gate condition or dimensions can change how parts orient and pass through tooling.
